Welcome to Cobb Benner Birt. First launched in 1997, it has been online ever since. Right now it is mainly devoted to our collection of art, antiquities and instruments. Because we are not just interested in the past, you can expect posts about uncommon trends in music, the arts, cars, history, and clothing at any time. As for antiquities, however, consider the tureen depicted above. This is a birthday gift from from my Great Grandmother Lucy Cobb from her father Ebeneezer Haskell Cobb III. This piece has been in my family for over 150 years and has followed us to Milan, Italy and Tokyo, Japan, where I grew up. I have no doubt that the Cobb influence impacted my parent’s appreciation for symmetry, beauty and integrity.
