This is a photo of my house where I showcase my Mom and Dad’s collection of Japanese and Chinese boxes from the mid 1800s. Also my Zenith table top from 1937 and my Father’s Norwin Teague designed “Blue Bird” radio from late 1930s. Candlesticks from China, middle 1800s.
Resisting the usual. Since 2008.

Tansu, Clock, Buddah, Blocks, Band
More to come on this suite of pieces.
Boxing Day. Again.
This is a small traveling chest, may be considered a mico-tansu if there is such a thing. It is in extremely good condition and from the early 1800s. Edo Period.
Christmas in Vietnam
Recent acquisition. Vietnamese contemporary. Also our mid-Century furniture lovingly, but clutteringly (if that’s a word), decorated for the season. Vase is a present from a Women’s Pottery conference.

Automotive Sculpture

Shirvan Wool Carpet Close Weave

Purchased…

Using the same style and subject matter as Bruno Lilefors, his plein air works display a brush technique that emulates the Master. His work is represented in all the…
