It is unquestionably clear that the Jaguar XKE is the most beautiful car ever penned by Sir William Lyons; if by anyone. I snapped a few pictures of a pristine 1973-4 wtih a wondrous V12 and all period correct pieces intact — right down to the helmet and riding gloves. Uncommon certainly. I happen to know it is not for sale.
